Christmas Dinner

Staff Cooks for Volunteers - Christmas 2005

Volunteers have consistently been skilled, hard-working people whose talents and strengths help the museum towards its goal of serving the community. They are often the first contact a visitor makes as they greet guests, answer questions, and assist in the library. In addition, volunteers provide floral arrangements, assist in the office and at special programs such as concerts, lectures and celebrations.

The staff values all that our volunteers do. Often, they join them on field trips to other museums such as the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the Canterbury Shaker Village. Staff/Volunteer dinners provide the opportunity not only to socialize but also to learn about each new exhibition. The end of the year holiday party is a popular event for everyone.

Information about our volunteer program is available by calling Doris Collins at (781) 934 - 6634, ext. 16,
