Artist in Residence - Mo Ringey

Mosaic artist Mo Ringey from Florence, Massachusetts lives and works in the
Judah Alden House Studio - June, 2005.


Eligibility - Visual artists, photographers,sculptors, installation and environmental artists are eligible. Artists are selected based on their quality of work and their interest in working at the ACM. The program encourages and welcomes participation of artists from all backgrounds and does not discriminate with regard to race, sex, religion, marital status, disabilities or nation of origin.

Facilities - Residency is on the grounds of the Art Complex Museum in Duxbury. Multi-roomed apartment on site in historic home. Studio space on first floor, apartment on second. Kiln, easels, limited equipment. Use of 4000 book reference library, computer, Internet access during museum hours. Two miles from ocean, walk to village.

Accommodations are currently limited to 2. (Artist and partner).
No accommodations for children or pets are available on site.

Artist pays for - food, travel and materials.

Art Complex Museum funds - housing, studio, program administration, Stipend towards expenses.

Applications are accepted throughout the year.
Length of stay varies from one week to one month. (Spring or Late Summer)



Artist must be willing to invite the community to experience the creation of his/her artwork. This may involve regular studio visiting hours, a scheduled lecture or workshop or some other forum that the artist is comfortable with.



Requirements: Please send a project proposal along with a current resume, and ten slides (or a CD with digital images) of recent work to:
